The DNJ EK284 Engine Rebuild Kit provides a comprehensive solution for restoring an engine's performance, compression, and overall reliability. This kit is meticulously assembled with application-specific components essential for a complete engine overhaul. Included are a piston set, piston ring set, crankshaft main bearing set, connecting rod bearing set, and a full gasket set. Depending on the specific application, the kit may also feature a freeze plug set, cam bearing set, thrust washer set, and piston pin bushing set. DNJ® components are constructed from premium materials chosen for their specific functions. Engine bearings utilize tri-metal or bi-metal alloys to ensure optimal load distribution, oil retention, and durability under demanding conditions. Freeze plugs are typically made from steel, brass, or stainless steel, ensuring reliable engine sealing and long-lasting performance. This specific rebuild kit is designed for 1998-2002 Honda Accord 3.0L V6 (2997cc 24V SOHC) and 1997-1999 Acura CL 3.0L V6 (2997cc 24V SOHC) models, utilizing the J30A1 engine code. DNJ® also offers a wide range of other internal engine components, such as camshafts, timing kits, and valve kits, to complement their rebuild kits. All DNJ® Engine Rebuild Kits are backed by a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first, with warranty claims limited to the replacement of defective parts.
