ENGINE "SWAP IN A BOX" KIT; LS IN 6

The Trans-Dapt 46008 Engine Swap Mount Kit is designed for installing a GM LS (Gen III/IV) engine and a 4L60E/70E automatic transmission into 1968-1972 GM A-Body cars, specifically Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino coupe models. This kit includes headers with a BLACK-MAXX Satin Black Ceramic-Metallic finish, engine mounts, and a 5-quart capacity rear sump oil pan with a red painted steel finish. The oil pan requires an oil filter relocation and has -10AN inlet/outlet ports. Some LS engines may require drilling a dipstick port if the dipstick is in the pan. The kit is not for use with 4L80E or 4L85E transmissions. Buick, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile A-Body models require frame kit #9596 (sold separately).
