Engine & Transmission Mount Pair

The 034 Motorsport Density Line Engine Mount Pair is engineered as a performance upgrade for Mk5 & Mk6 Volkswagen Golf/Jetta/GTI/GLI and 8P & 8J Chassis Audi A3/S3/TT/TTS models equipped with 2.0T FSI/TSI engines. These mounts are constructed from 60 durometer, fluid-free rubber, resulting in approximately 35% increased stiffness over stock rubber and 60% stiffer than solid-filled mounts. This design significantly reduces drivetrain slop, minimizes engine movement under load, and improves shifting feel for a more direct power transfer. Rubber does not pack or wear like polyurethane, ensuring consistent performance and comfort over time. The Street Density mounts are recommended for daily-driven vehicles, providing a noticeable performance increase with only a minimal transfer of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) into the cabin. However, it's important to note that while improved for spirited driving, these mounts are not intended for extreme abuse like aggressive drag racing or excessive power increases, which could lead to premature wear. For such demanding applications, 034 Motorsport's Motorsport Mounts are recommended. Fitment includes a wide range of models such as the 2006-2013 Audi A3 (8P) and TT/TTS (8J), 2005-2009 Volkswagen Eos/GLI/GTI/Jetta (Mk5), 2010-2014 Volkswagen Eos/Golf/GTI/R (Mk6), 2014-2017 Volkswagen Jetta/GLI (Mk6), and 2005-2010 Volkswagen Passat (B6). A crucial exclusion is that these mounts will not fit Passat (B6) models equipped with a Tiptronic transmission. A break-in period of at least 250 miles is recommended for optimal NVH adaptation.
