This software enables users to reflash (remap/chip tune) the ECU, a true reflashing solution that retains all built-in safety features and does not require splicing wires. It offers a growing selection of pre-built tunes, developed and measured on a chassis dyno, which can be flashed with just a few clicks for stock or mildly modified vehicles. For advanced users, an integrated tune editor allows for customization of existing tunes or creation of new ones, offering features like tune comparison, visualization, and automated language translation. Additionally, a virtual dashboard and log viewer enable real-time monitoring and recording of engine parameters, with the ability to export logs for further analysis. VersaTuner is compatible with a range of Mazda models, specifically supporting the 2014-2018 Mazda3 and Mazda Axela (Gen 3, BM, BN) with the 2.5L SkyActiv-G engine, across all regions and supporting both manual and automatic transmissions. To operate, the software requires a Windows PC or laptop with specific requirements, and a compatible hardware interface such as a J2534 Pass-Thru device for flashing or an OBD-II adapter for wireless data logging.
