Overview

The Graf PA1041 is an engine water pump designed to circulate coolant and maintain optimal engine operating temperature. If the water pump fails, coolant circulation stops, potentially leading to engine overheating. Signs of a faulty water pump include coolant leaks, engine overheating, and unusual noises.
Show original supplier description
The Graf PA1041 is a replacement engine water pump that plays a critical role in your vehicle's cooling system. It circulates a mixture of water and coolant throughout the engine to prevent overheating and maintain optimal operating temperatures. A failing water pump can lead to serious engine damage due to overheating, and may also cause other accessories driven by the same belt to cease functioning. This Graf water pump features an aluminum housing and a brass impeller. Key specifications include a 66.7 mm outside diameter, a 30 mm bearing outside diameter, and 7 impeller vanes. It also includes the necessary gasket or seal for installation. Graf, a division of the Metelli Group, has nearly 100 years of experience and supplies OE quality replacement water pumps, often with improved designs to address OEM flaws and enhance coolant flow. Signs that your water pump may be failing include visible coolant leaks under your vehicle, a consistently overheating engine, whining or grinding noises originating from the engine area, or a check engine light indicating a water pump fault. It is recommended to replace timing belt-driven water pumps during timing belt replacement due to the difficulty of accessing them. When replacing the water pump, it is also advisable to consider replacing associated components such as hoses, the thermostat, timing belt and tensioner, and any other seals or hoses that must be removed to complete the job.
