Engineering 2.5L 5-Cylinder Intake Manifold Kit

The Integrated Engineering IEIMVB4-BK is a performance intake manifold kit engineered to unlock the full power potential of VW's 2.5L 5-cylinder engines. It also comes with IE Stage 2 Manifold Software to recalibrate the engine for optimal performance, including increased horsepower and torque, improved throttle response, and a higher rev limiter. The kit includes the IE Performance Intake Manifold, the IE Stage 2 Manifold Software, and an IE PowerLINK tuning cable with software for flashing the tune. The intake manifold itself is constructed from cast aluminum and features an increased plenum volume and optimized runner designs developed using CFD software to improve airflow to all cylinders. A cold air intake kit is also included to ensure fresh airflow to the mass airflow sensor. This manifold is designed for MK5 platform 2.5L engines (VW Rabbit 2006-2009 and Jetta/Jetta GLI 2006-2010). While it fits many MK6 Golf (2010-14), MK6 Jetta (2010-14), and Jetta Sportwagon (2011-14) models, these may require custom modifications and fitting alterations. Crucially, this manifold will only fit VW 2.5L engines equipped with an electric power steering system. It does NOT fit vehicles with a hydraulic power steering pump, as this pump is located below the factory intake manifold. Additionally, automatic transmission vehicles require a matching IE TCU Transmission tune to prevent the stock transmission's rev limiters from shifting before the manifold and software can achieve the full power gains. Installation requires the removal of several factory components, including the intake manifold, fuel injectors, fuel rail, and PCV system parts. Due to the complexity and potential for serious engine damage from incorrect installation, professional installation is recommended. Factory or other manufacturer cold air intakes will not fit directly with this manifold and will require modifications due to the relocated throttle body.
