Engineering 3" Catted Downpipe

The Integrated Engineering IEEXCI1 is a performance-oriented catted cast downpipe constructed from durable 304 stainless steel with 76mm (3 inch) tubing. It features a high-flow 200-cell metal matrix catalytic converter designed to reduce pollution and smell while allowing for full power. The construction utilizes TIG welding for long-lasting, reliable welds, and includes an OEM-style reinforced flex section to withstand chassis and engine movement, preventing leaks and failures. This downpipe is designed to replace over six feet of restrictive factory exhaust tubing, improving exhaust flow, increasing sound, and reducing turbo lag when upgrading to Stage 2 software. IE engineers utilize digital scanning to ensure a perfect fit with proper clearance and correctly located mounting points. The unit also incorporates high-flow cast sections, designed using specialized 3D scanners and software, to maximize flow and conform to tight spaces without sacrificing fitment. Installation of this downpipe requires Stage 2 ECU tuning. For optimal performance gains, an IE air intake and IE FDS intercooler are also highly recommended. All-wheel drive (AWD) Quattro, or 4 Motion vehicles require a different mid-pipe section. Compatible models include Audi A3 (2014+ 8V), VW GTI (2015+ MK7/MK7.5), VW GLI (2019+ MK7), and VW Golf (2015+ MK7/MK7.5). Some models may require a 60mm adapter, which is not included.
