Engineering Cold Air Intake Kit

The Integrated Engineering IEINCC2 Cold Air Intake Kit is designed to deliver optimal performance for Audi A3 (MK2/8P) 2008-2013, VW MK5 GTI late 2009, VW MK6 GTI 2010-2014, VW MK6 Jetta/GLI 2011-2013.5, and VW CC 2009-2016, all with 2.0T TSI (EA888 Gen1/2) engines. This kit provides a direct, stock-like fit, ensuring reliable mounting without interference with factory components. The intake system features a high-flow velocity stack with a bellmouth opening, securely fastened to the heat shield, which allows for a large air filter surface area capable of supporting over 500HP. The thermal blocking heat shield creates a barrier against radiant heat from the engine bay, ensuring that only cold air from the front of the vehicle enters the filter. This design allows for factory placement of the intake, avoiding the risks associated with placing the filter lower in the vehicle where it could be exposed to road debris or fluids. Installation is described as quick and easy, typically taking around an hour with basic tools. An SAI (Secondary Air Injection) kit may be required for CBFA engine codes, while CCTA engine codes will not need it. This cold air intake is specifically for 2.0T TSI (timing chain driven) EA888 Gen1 & Gen2 direct injection engines. It is not compatible with early model 2.0T FSI (timing belt driven) EA113 engines found in pre-2009 MK5 GTI, nor with late model EA888 Gen3 engines found in 2013.5+ GLI, which require different intakes. It is recommended to verify your engine type (FSI vs TSI Gen3) before ordering. The product can be installed on a completely stock car and does not require additional parts, though professional installation is recommended.
