Engineering Cold Air Intake System

The Integrated Engineering IEINCK1 is a cold air intake system engineered to enhance the performance of Audi B9 A4, A5, and Allroad models equipped with 2.0T engines. This intake system features a ram air design, a high-flow velocity stack, and a massive 5.5-inch filter inlet, all contributing to delivering maximum horsepower potential from a cold air induction setup. Additionally, a second heat shield is positioned above the turbocharger to mitigate heat soak from the exhaust and turbo components. The ram air design, velocity stack, and expansive filter inlet work in conjunction to feed the turbocharger with more cold air, leading to increased power, particularly noticeable during warmer months. The designers also note that the intake system enhances the engine's acoustics. Engineered for precision fitment, the IEINCK1 utilizes factory airbox mounts to ensure a hassle-free installation without requiring modifications. The use of stock rubber mounts allows for natural engine movement, preventing damage to the intake components. Installation is straightforward, typically taking around an hour with basic tools. An optional gloss carbon fiber lid is available separately to enhance the engine bay's aesthetic. This cold air intake is designed for Audi A4, A5, and Allroad models from 2015 onwards (B9 chassis) with the 2.0T engine. It is crucial to verify fitment, as this system *does not fit* engines equipped with a MAF housing and sensor. Peak gains of 10-20+ HP/TQ can be expected on tuned engines. Power testing was conducted on an in-house Dynapack hub dyno, comparing stock intake results to the IE Cold Air Intake Kit on a full bolt-on stage 2 B9 A4 2.0T engine.
