The Integrated Engineering IESOVX2 DSG tune is engineered to optimize the performance of your VW MK7 or Audi 8V equipped with a DQ250 transmission. This software upgrade reconfigures the transmission's shift points to a higher 6800 RPM, allowing you to utilize the full powerband of your turbocharged engine without premature shifts. The drive mapping has been significantly reworked to provide a more engaging and less vibration-prone experience, addressing the common issue of the engine lugging at low RPMs. Key technical features include increased clutch pressure, enabling the transmission to reliably hold more torque, which directly translates to more aggressive acceleration and quicker launches. Take-off lag is also reduced through reworked clutch engagement. For those seeking to fine-tune their launch strategy, the tune offers multiple user-selectable launch control RPMs, including 3200, 3400, 3600, 3800, and 4000 RPM. Installation is straightforward, as the tune is flashed directly through the vehicle's OBD-II port, eliminating the need to remove the TCU. This allows for convenient in-driveway installation or service through an IE software dealer. The IESOVX2 is a requirement for high-torque IE ECU tunes, and when paired with an IE ECU tune, it unlocks the full performance potential of your 2.0 TSI Gen 3 engine and transmission. Additionally, the kick-down switch is disabled in Tiptronic/Manual mode to ensure you maintain your selected gear during demanding maneuvers.
