The Dorch Engineering DE-581-25A represents the next generation of B58 direct-injection fueling upgrades, building upon the success of their previous DS2 pump. This "Stage 2.5" HPFP has been entirely re-engineered, featuring a reworked pressure chamber, updated spring rates, and an optimized plunger depth to maximize volumetric efficiency. The design prioritizes a 100% plug-and-play installation with exact OEM hose routing, meaning no cutting, bending, or crimping is required. This ensures zero interference when accessing coil packs or spark plugs. The kit includes a 250 bar capacity hardline for a simple connection to the fuel rail, maintaining full DME control just like the factory unit. Performance-wise, the DS25 supports up to 750whp on gasoline and 550whp on E85, with an optional +40% cam upgrade boosting these figures to 1000whp on gasoline and 770whp on E85. Dorch Engineering backs this upgrade with a lifetime warranty, underscoring the pump's reliability. This kit is specifically designed for Gen 1 B58 vehicles, including models like the F20/21 140i/140xi, F22/23 240i/240xi, F30/31/34 340i/340xi, F32/33/36 440i/440xi, and select G-series models (G30/31 540i/540xi, G32 640i/640xi, G11/12 740i/740xi, G01 X3 m40i, G02 X4 m40i) only up to the 2019 model year.
