The Integrated Engineering IETPDB1 turbo outlet pipe directly replaces the stock, flow-restricting pinched plastic pipe with a performance-oriented aluminum design. Featuring a constant diameter achieved through mandrel bending, this pipe optimizes airflow directly from the turbocharger, reducing turbulence and increasing flow by a stated 13.44% over the stock unit. Construction includes TIG-welded aluminum with CNC-machined hose ends that have a radius edge and grip-lock ribbing. These robust ends prevent crushing when clamps are tightened, ensuring a crush-proof and leak-free connection for boost hoses. The design retains all factory harness, coolant, and mounting clip locations, making it a complete bolt-in replacement unit. A black powder coat finish provides a durable and attractive look. The estimated installation time is around 2 hours. This pipe is intended as a direct upgrade for the VW MK8 Golf R, GTI, and Audi 8Y S3 models equipped with the Gen 4 2.0T MQB EVO engine, specifically for model years 2022 and newer. It is important to note that while the IE Turbo Outlet Pipe is compatible with the IE Turbo Muffler Delete for GTI engines (sold separately), the turbo mufflers on the Golf R and S3 models are integrated into the factory turbo outlet pipe and are not compatible with the add-on delete.
