The Enkei XM6 features a clean and concave mesh design, intended to improve the look of modern unibody SUVs or large sedans. Enkei uses a hybrid process of casting and forging (Durville die casting and MAT process) to ensure high material strength comparable to forged wheels while keeping manufacturing costs more affordable. This process also allows for greater freedom in wheel face design. Enkei focuses on design capability, utilizing extensive wheel design data and 3D simulation to maintain high stiffness without adding unnecessary weight by optimizing spoke and rim profiles and shaving down areas with low stress concentration.
