The amplifier features a smart auto-reset protection circuit and solid power/speaker terminals secured by hex screws for reliable connections.

Utilizing a high-current Class D architecture, it is 2-ohm stable, capable of delivering maximum power output with high efficiency. This amplifier is designed to provide a massive 1,400W RMS of power. Key features include a digital Class-D amplifier for powerful performance in a compact form factor, and direct wire terminals with hex screws for solid, reliable connections. It boasts a 4-gauge power terminal and an 8-gauge speaker terminal designed for maximum current flow. The amplifier also offers an 89dB+ signal-to-noise ratio for clear audio and an ultra-efficient idle draw of less than 0.5-1A. For enhanced bass control, the EPICBIGFOUR includes an EPICENTER Link, allowing direct connection to The Epicenter bass restoration processor. It also features a smart auto-reset protection circuit with multiple modes, including Output Over-Current Protection (OCP), Input Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Input Under-Voltage Protection (UVP), Output DC-Offset Protection (DCP), and Over-Temperature Protection (OTP), to prevent damage. The amplifier is equipped with 12 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley variable high and low pass filters and comes with the ACR-E Remote Bass Knob for easy control. Its dimensions are 6.1" W x 10.56" L x 2.01" H. The EPICBIGFOUR requires a 4 AWG power/ground wire gauge and has a recommended fuse rating of 150 Amps.
