The AudioControl EPICX8D4 is an 8-inch dual voice coil subwoofer that offers a perfect fusion of relentless output and refined audio quality. The subwoofer features a pressed paper cone, which contributes to its organic warmth, natural depth, and rich bass character. Key construction elements include large-gauge, quick-release black nickel terminals, ensuring maximum conductivity and a vibration-proof connection for consistent power delivery. The EPICX8D4 boasts a power handling of 400W RMS and 600W Max, with an impedance that can be configured to 2 or 4 ohms thanks to its dual voice coil design. This flexibility allows for optimal matching with various amplifiers. The subwoofer also features a high-precision motor assembly to maximize efficiency and output, and a high-temperature lightweight voice coil for lightning-fast bass response and reliability under demanding conditions. The one-piece dust cap enhances cone rigidity, while the rigid steel basket provides unwavering strength.
