The Active Autowerke Signature Equal Length Mid-Pipe (11-114G2) is engineered to enhance the exhaust note of the BMW G80 M3 and G82 M4, addressing the factory muffled sound and restoring the sporty growl expected from an M-car. This Gen 2 upgrade features specially developed resonators designed to minimize rasp and reduce the "2k buzzing" and cold start rattle, offering a smoother high-rev sound without significant volume changes. Constructed from durable, 100% 304 brushed stainless steel, this mid-pipe is built to last and comes with a one-year warranty against rust. The design utilizes patented Active equal length technology, correcting the passenger side exhaust length to achieve a true equal length setup for improved flow and sound characteristics. The stock mid-pipe can also be reinstated if necessary. Active Autowerke recommends the resonated version for cars with aftermarket downpipes, though testing has primarily been conducted with stock and Active downpipes and rear exhausts. They explicitly state that fitment with other makes of rear exhausts is not guaranteed. This product is part of the Active Autowerke Motorsport Collection and is designated for RACE and OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. Customers must sign and return an Off Road Use Only Waiver before shipment.
