The BTR Equalizer 3 Intake Manifold is a high-performance, low-profile cast intake manifold for Gen III/Gen IV LS EFI engines utilizing LS3/L99 square port cylinder heads. Constructed from durable 319 aluminum and finished in a sleek black powder coat, it is proudly made in the USA. The manifold features o-ringed port openings and lid surface for a secure seal, along with an easy-insert steep chamfer on injector bores for hassle-free injector installation. Its underslung plenum design maximizes hood clearance, and it includes a 102mm profiled throttle bore. For sensor mounting, it offers one rear MAP sensor location and one additional user-optional location, with a dedicated LS3 MAP sensor bore. Engineered for peak power output between 6000 and 8000 RPM, this intake is particularly beneficial for boosted applications, offering greater reliability at higher peak power ranges compared to stock-style intakes, assuming a properly engineered valvetrain. The two-piece design allows for easier porting access, and all threads are roll-form aircraft standard DSDV. It is designed to clear F-Body cowls and C5 cowls with minor modifications. Please note that this manifold is not compatible with truck accessories. It requires the BTR Fuel Rail Kit FRK-01 and is compatible with throttle bracket kits LTBK-01 & STBK-01. If using LS1 style injectors, the BTR lower o-ring inj-oring3-8 is required.
