As an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for BMW, Bosch provides an EU5-spec injector that ensures compatibility and performance. This fuel injector is sold individually and comes with a 24-month warranty. This part is critical for delivering precise fuel amounts directly into the combustion chamber in high-pressure direct injection systems. Symptoms of a faulty fuel injector can include poor engine performance, rough idle, increased fuel consumption, and engine misfires, often accompanied by a check engine light. This Bosch injector is a direct replacement for failed or malfunctioning units, aiming to restore optimal engine operation and fuel efficiency. When installing this fuel injector, it is important to note that a new decoupling element is required for each injector and is sold separately. Additionally, per BMW service bulletin SI B13 03 15, after installation, the quantity compensation adjustment value must be entered into the DME using an appropriate scan tool, even if the values are the same as the removed injectors. The specific EU5 injector type should be verified for your BMW application.
