The VIS Racing Euro R style hood is a performance-oriented replacement hood for 1992-1998 BMW 3 Series (E36) 2-door models. It is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber with a high-gloss, UV-protective clear coat.

This hood features a two-part construction with a reinforced underside shell and is produced using a vacuum infusion process for increased strength and reduced weight. Please note that hood pins are required for proper installation and safety.

The VIS Racing Euro R style hood is an aftermarket carbon fiber replacement designed for 1992-1998 BMW 3 Series (E36) 2-door models. Built to replace the factory panel, it features a two-part construction that bonds a high-grade carbon fiber top layer to a smooth, structural underside shell. The surface is finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating to ensure a durable, high-gloss appearance. Manufacturing utilizes the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which significantly improves the strength-to-weight ratio, resulting in a hood that is 10-20% lighter than traditional hand-laid fiberglass equivalents. Every unit includes a badge of authenticity to verify its construction quality. Professional installation by an experienced custom body shop is strictly recommended. Because this is an aftermarket component, modifications such as cutting, trimming, filling, and sanding are often necessary to achieve a proper fitment. It is advised to test fit the part thoroughly before performing any painting or permanent modifications. Installation requires the use of hood pins for safety due to the nature of the product. This hood is intended for off-road use only, unless otherwise permitted by local or state regulations.
