The BMW Genuine Parts radiator is engineered as a higher capacity, all-aluminum replacement, offering superior cooling performance and durability compared to stock plastic end tank radiators. This unit features a thicker, third-row core for increased cooling capacity and includes factory oil cooler mounting points, aligning with the original design specifications of the Euro E36 M3 and MZ3 S54 models. This radiator serves as a direct-fit solution for a range of BMW models, including the 1992-1999 E36 323i, 325i, 328i, and M3, as well as the Z3 2.3, 2.5, 2.8, and 3.0, the MZ3, and 1988 and later E30 325i. Its all-aluminum construction is presented as a more robust alternative to plastic end tank radiators, which are prone to cracking with a typical 5-10 year service life. For installations involving plastic end tank radiators, the manufacturer recommends using rubber radiator hoses, as silicone hoses can potentially cause premature failure due to increased stress on the inlet and outlet snouts. For automatic transmissions, a slight modification will be required to securely bolt on the transmission cooler. This radiator is a Genuine BMW part, ensuring OE quality and fitment.
