EV14 550 cc/min Fuel Injector

The Bosch EV14 fuel injector is a high-performance upgrade engineered for superior fuel delivery and precise atomization. These injectors boast a flow rate of 550 cc/min (52 lbs/hr) at 3 Bar (43.5 psi), with calibrated rates also available at 3.5 and 4.0 Bar (50 and 58 psi respectively). They utilize a single-hole disc for fuel delivery, producing a wide cone spray pattern that is ideal for modern multi-valve engines and promotes excellent atomization. Constructed with a high resistance (12.5 Ohms), these injectors do not require an inline resistor or resistor box. They are designed to function reliably at fuel rail pressures exceeding 101 psi (7 bar) and offer excellent low pulse width response, remaining predictable down to 2ms. The EV14 injectors are rated for all fuel types, including gasoline, E10, and E85. Each injector comes complete with new Viton o-rings for both top and bottom seals, and is ready for installation. The USCAR electrical connector ensures compatibility with a wide range of domestic and European applications. Each set is flow-matched and supplied with a detailed flow-data chart that includes individual static flow rates at various pressures, dynamic pulse testing at different duty cycles, and a complete dead time offset table. This meticulous testing allows for linear tuning with excellent low-end performance and idle RPM control, often requiring no more than a 1% trim for easy tuning. Special considerations are noted for E85 users, suggesting periodic lubrication to prevent potential sticking due to the drying nature of ethanol-based fuels on injector orifices.
