The Bosch 0280158279 is a high-performance, high-impedance fuel injector, often referred to as the EV14L due to its long body geometry, measuring 60.65mm from O-ring to O-ring. This injector is engineered with a Type E dual-cone spray pattern to ensure optimal fuel atomization and delivery, making it suitable for applications requiring increased fuel flow. This injector boasts a flow rate of 50 lb/hr (521 cc/min or 375 g/min) at 43.5 PSI (3 bar). It features a USCAR/EV6 electrical connector and a 12 Ohm coil resistance. The internal stainless steel components and Viton O-rings (blue upper, green lower) provide compatibility with gasoline, E85, and methanol fuels. The injector tip has a 6-hole nozzle and measures 11mm, with an 14mm O-ring at both the top and bottom. Officially cross-referenced with Ford part numbers like 1311-AA, 1311-9F593-AA, and Ford Racing M-9593-LU47, this injector is frequently cited as a replacement for Ford Coyote engines. It is also commonly used in custom builds and generic applications where higher fuel flow is required.
