This system utilizes a specifically designed solenoid valve to accurately regulate boost, capable of handling pressures up to 250kPa (approximately 36 PSI). Key features of the EVC-S include two distinct boost level settings, allowing users to switch between different power profiles. Additionally, the controller offers settings for offset and boost response, enabling fine-tuning of the boost curve. The complete EVC-S package consists of four compact, independent units: a display unit for monitoring, a control unit for adjustments, a boost sensor for accurate readings, and a solenoid valve for pressure regulation. This modular design facilitates straightforward installation within the engine bay. This electronic boost controller is suitable for various turbocharged vehicles and is compatible with both internal and external wastegate types. It operates on a DC12V negative ground system.
