EVO 2 Competition Intercooler Kit

The Wagner Tuning EVO 2 Competition Intercooler Kit is engineered to dramatically enhance the cooling performance and efficiency of the Ford Mustang MK6 2.3 EcoBoost models from 2015 onwards, including facelift variants. This kit provides a substantial upgrade over the OEM intercooler, featuring net dimensions of 535 mm x 392 mm x 95 mm, which equates to a total volume of 19.9 liters. This massive increase represents a 175% larger flow area and a 226% greater charge air volume compared to the stock unit. The intercooler utilizes cast aluminum end boxes, developed with CAD and optimized through CFD simulations, to ensure excellent internal airflow. An integrated air duct within the end box promotes homogeneous filling of the competition high-performance mesh, while enlarged inlet and outlet diameters of 70 mm further enhance flow and minimize back pressure. This kit also includes a specially designed carbon air duct to ensure optimal and targeted airflow to the intercooler, maximizing cooling efficiency. Built for demanding conditions, the Wagner Tuning EVO 2 is tested for pressure resistance up to 6 bar, making it suitable for racing applications. It features a durable anti-corrosion coating in black, providing excellent thermal conductivity for long-lasting performance. The kit is designed as a plug-and-play replacement for the stock intercooler, simplifying installation. The net dimensions of the original intercooler are 525 mm x 145 mm x 80 mm with a volume of 6.1 liters.
