The Pfitzner Performance Gearbox (PPG) EVO 4-9 Drag Gear Set is a specialized 4-speed component engineered for the demands of drag racing. This highly developed gear set focuses on meticulous tooth profiling and optimized bearing selection to reduce stress on the inherently vulnerable EVO 4-9 transmission casing. PPG states that they are unaware of any other product on the market that achieves similar results while utilizing the stock gearbox configuration. Constructed to endure significant increases in horsepower and torque, this gear set is ideal for high-speed applications, including professional motorsport and dedicated drag racing. The ratios provided are 2.846 (1st), 1.937 (2nd), 1.388 (3rd), and 1.000 (4th). This set includes billet selector forks and offers a choice between a 4.307 or 4.142 Final Drive ratio for optimal performance. For a complete setup, PPG recommends their Diff Tube.
