The VIS Racing EVO Style Carbon Fiber Hood is crafted from Grade-A carbon fiber material, offering a lightweight yet durable upgrade for your 1990-1993 Honda Accord, compatible with both 2-door and 4-door models. This hood utilizes a two-part construction method where the top layer of carbon fiber is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating, ensuring a high-gloss, lasting appearance. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that enhances structural integrity, with hand-smoothed edges for a quality finish. VIS Racing has further refined their manufacturing process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which produces parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable. This hood is transitioning to the V.I.P. process, providing enhanced quality without significant cost increases. Each VIS Carbon Fiber Hood comes with a badge of authenticity. Due to the nature of aftermarket parts and their intended uses, hood pins are required for installation. This product is designated for off-road use only, unless otherwise permitted by local and state laws. Professional installation is recommended, as aftermarket hoods may require adjustments for optimal fitment.
