The Magnum Tuning EVO-Tech Performance Chip is designed for BMW 3 series vehicles looking to improve performance without a full ECU flash. This chip connects inline with the Inlet Temp sensor and Lambda/O2 Sensor harness, allowing for a richer fuel trim remap. This process helps to unleash additional horsepower and torque throughout the entire rev range. Installation of the EVO-Tech chip is estimated to take approximately 45 minutes for those with basic wiring tools. Once installed, users can fine-tune the performance using the included adjustment knob. It also allows for easy reversion to original A/F ratio settings with the flip of a switch. The EVO-Tech chip is compatible with various BMW 3 series models, with specific fitment options available. It works by overriding restrictions within the Engine Control Unit to optimize fuel delivery and unlock potential performance gains. The manufacturer claims a 15% horsepower increase and noticeably stronger torque, resulting in improved acceleration and throttle sensitivity.
