The MAPerformance Evo X Catch Can / Coolant Expansion Combo Tank is a direct-fit component designed for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Evolution X. This unit replaces the plastic coolant overflow tank and functions as both a coolant overflow tank and an oil catch can.

It is constructed from sleek cast aluminum and features -10AN lines for reduced airflow velocity. The design includes a built-in level float for easy coolant level checking and a single bolt installation process with no major modifications required.

The MAPerformance Evo X Catch Can / Coolant Expansion Combo Tank is engineered to address crankcase pressure issues in the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Evolution X, specifically those generated by the 4B11T engine's boost. Constructed from durable cast aluminum, this unit serves a dual purpose, replacing the factory plastic coolant overflow tank while simultaneously acting as a vent-to-atmosphere oil catch can. This design aims to eliminate crankcase pressure, which can lead to pre-detonation, improve the longevity of seals and gaskets, and reduce oil accumulation in intercoolers and intake piping. By relieving this pressure, the system can also free up horsepower. The tank features a sleek aesthetic, a built-in level float for monitoring coolant, and utilizes -10AN lines from Squirrelly Performance for optimal airflow. It is advertised as a 100% direct-fit component. A drain kit is available separately for easy maintenance. This product is assembled in the USA and comes with a MAP Limited Lifetime Warranty. It is compatible with all valve cover options included in the kit.
