The Akrapovic Evolution Line Titanium Exhaust System is a high-performance upgrade specifically designed for the Mercedes-AMG C 63 and C 63 S Coupe (C205 models from 2016-2018). Constructed from ultra-lightweight titanium alloys and finished with matte carbon-fibre tailpipes, this system offers a significant weight reduction of 13.0 kg, exceeding 45% lighter than stock. Engineered with precision, the system features an active X connection and dual exhaust valves located behind the rear mufflers. This design allows for optimal control over exhaust sound, providing two distinct sound characteristics and three driving sound settings, meticulously tuned for optimal aural enjoyment across all driving modes. An optional Akrapovic Sound Kit controller is available for enhanced sound customization. Performance gains include a power increase of +5.9 kW at 2000 rpm and a torque increase of +27.9 Nm at 1850 rpm. This exhaust system is ECE type approved, simplifying installation as a plug-and-play solution with no need for ECU remapping or additional parts. However, it is crucial to note that this system does not fit vehicles equipped with an Otto particulate filter (OPF). Additionally, the system is split into two codes due to packaging requirements, with the Akrapovic Mercedes-Benz C205 S205 W205 Titanium Evolution Link Pipe Set being a mandatory separate purchase.
