The Akrapovic E-Y6R5 is an optional stainless steel header specifically engineered for the Yamaha YZF-R6 models ranging from 2008 to 2020. This header serves as a crucial component to upgrade your existing Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system into a complete racing exhaust. By installing this header, riders can expect improvements in their motorcycle's power output, aesthetic appeal, and the distinctive Akrapovic sound. For optimal performance, throttle response, and longevity, it is recommended to use a specially developed mapping from Dynojet. Riders can find more information and access these maps at http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander. It is important to note that this product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use. Installation of the Akrapovic exhaust system should only be performed by individuals skilled in motorcycle exhaust system installation and performance.
