Evolution Line Titanium Exhaust System

The Akrapovic Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system is engineered for the BMW M440i (G22, G23), offering a substantial upgrade in sound and performance. Constructed from high-grade, lightweight titanium, it is finished with distinctive carbon-fibre tailpipes and a durable austenitic stainless-steel link pipe set. This system boasts two valves, one more than the stock configuration, and comes with a TNG controller to manage the additional exhaust valve, allowing for tailored sound profiles. Two specially tuned resonators are integrated to produce a deep, rich, and sporty exhaust note, carefully balanced to avoid any drone or unwanted resonance, complementing the straight-six engine's character. Performance figures from Akrapovic's dyno testing show gains of 8.7 kW (11.8 hp) at 5,600 rpm and a torque increase of 17.1 Nm at 4,100 rpm compared to the stock exhaust. The system also achieves a significant weight reduction of 23% over the original component. Special parts for intricate construction are cast in Akrapovic's in-house foundry. Fitment requires an extra stock valve actuator (part #18308686640) for installation on BMW M340i (G20, G21) and M440i (G22, G23, G26) models. The Evolution Line (Titanium) is exclusively for non-OPF (Otto Particulate Filter) vehicles; the ECE type approval certificate is not valid for these non-OPF applications. IMPORTANT NOTE: This product is intended for track or off-road use only and does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use. Installation or use on a public road vehicle is a violation of the Clean Air Act. Remapping of the ECU is recommended.
