Evolution Line Titanium Exhaust System

The link pipe set is made from high-grade austenitic stainless-steel. The system features dual exhaust valves, one more than the stock configuration, and includes a TNG controller to manage the additional valve. Two tuned resonators, specifically developed for the engine, produce a deep, rich, and sporty sound profile without unwanted drone or resonance, aligning perfectly with the straight-six-cylinder engine. Acoustic reflectors on the tailpipes are strategically placed to guide sound into the cabin, enhancing the driving experience. Performance enhancements include a 23% weight reduction (6.5 kg lighter than stock) and notable power and torque gains. Dyno testing by Akrapovič recorded an increase of 8.7 kW (11.8 hp) at 5,600 rpm and 17.1 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm when compared to a standard stock exhaust on a BMW M440i. Special components are cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry to achieve the intricate designs required for this system. Important fitment and usage notes: This Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system is intended for track use only and is exclusively for non-OPF (Otto Particulate Filter) vehicles. The ECE type approval certificate is not valid for non-OPF vehicles. Additionally, when installing this Slip-On exhaust system on BMW M340i (G20, G21) and M440i (G22, G23, G26) models, an extra stock valve actuator (part nr. 18 30 8 686 640) is required. This product does not meet sound decibel level compliance requirements for street or highway use, nor does it alter any emission elements.
