The JL Audio C2-650X Evolution Series coaxial speakers are engineered to deliver a superior audio experience in your vehicle, offering a balance of sparkling high-frequency detail, smooth midrange, and powerful mid-bass. At the core of these speakers are 6.5-inch woofers constructed with mineral-filled polypropylene cones, known for their durability and excellent tonal reproduction. These woofers feature long excursion capabilities and are housed in robust stamped steel frames, a testament to JL Audio's expertise in woofer design. The accompanying 0.75-inch silk dome tweeters are coaxially mounted to provide smooth, extended frequency response, both on and off-axis, ensuring a consistent soundstage throughout the vehicle. Installation is made convenient due to the standard 6.5-inch format, which is designed to fit directly into many vehicle locations. The woofer frame includes multiple mounting patterns, simplifying the process. Furthermore, the compact design of the coaxial tweeter minimizes protrusion, allowing these speakers to fit seamlessly behind most factory speaker grilles. The C2-650x system is capable of handling 60 watts RMS power per channel, with a peak music power of 225 watts, and is recommended for use with amplifiers providing 15-100 watts RMS per channel. The system boasts an efficiency of 91 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms, with a frequency response ranging from 59 Hz to 22 KHz ± 3 dB.
