The MODE Auto Concepts 7001 EX50 is a 50mm external wastegate designed to handle extreme conditions. It features an investment cast body made from 253MA chromium-nickel stainless steel and a CNC machined billet stainless steel valve. The wastegate is equipped with a nomex-reinforced silicone diaphragm and a V-band clamp mounting system.

This wastegate has a 50mm valve and a V-band inlet and outlet. It stands 133mm tall and includes a 13psi outer spring. Additional 7psi and 9psi springs are available, allowing for base boost pressures ranging from 7 to 29psi when combined.

The MODE Auto Concepts 7001 EX50 is a high-performance 50mm external wastegate engineered to manage extreme exhaust temperatures and high boost pressures. Its compact design is among the smallest in its class without compromising flow capacity. The wastegate construction features an investment cast body made from durable 253MA chromium-nickel stainless steel, a CNC-machined billet stainless steel valve, and a CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum actuator housing. The diaphragm is made of nomex-reinforced silicone, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. An internal shroud protects the valve stem from excessive heat and prevents carbon-related sticking. Key specifications include a 50mm valve, V-band inlet and outlet, and an overall height of 133mm. The unit is supplied with a 13psi outer spring, with additional 7psi and 9psi springs available separately. These springs can be combined to achieve base boost pressures of 7, 9, 13, 16, 20, 22, and 29psi. The V-band clamp mounting system is included, along with 304 stainless steel weld-on adaptors. The base flange is compatible with TiAl 44 flanges when used with a GFB adaptor. This wastegate is made in Australia under ISO 9001 standards.
