The M7 Speed "Exact-Fit" Oil Catch Can Kit is precision-engineered for MINI Cooper S models (R52S and R53) to combat excessive oil vapor within the intake system. This billet aluminum catch can effectively separates oil vapors from the crankcase air before it's reintroduced into the intake charge. By doing so, it prevents oil contamination that can lead to reduced intercooler efficiency, gumming up sensors, and carbon buildup on intake valves. This ensures that the vehicle can be easily returned to its stock configuration if necessary. The kit includes a stainless steel bracket and all necessary mounting hardware, making it a great DIY project. The M7 Oil Catch Can is constructed from CNC-machined billet aluminum, offering both robust functionality and an enhanced aesthetic for the engine compartment. It helps maintain peak engine performance by preventing oil film and sludge buildup on intake tracts, sensors like the MAF, and critical intake valves. Additionally, it helps avoid premature sensor failure and costly repairs. This product is not for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board.
