Excel-G Rear Strut

The KYB Excel-G 341448 is a rear strut engineered to be a direct replacement for the 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla, restoring original designed performance. It is classified as OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) and is manufactured on the same assembly lines as KYB's Original Equipment parts, using identical quality components. This strut utilizes a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design. Its construction includes vehicle-specific, hand-assembled damping valves to meticulously manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement. For enhanced rigidity and to maintain proper wheel alignment, KYB incorporates thickest and strongest bodies and brackets in the industry, along with a sintered iron rod guide. The inner cylinders are constructed from seamless, extruded steel tubing, and a Teflon band around the piston ensures a positive seal, preventing fluid bypass and allowing the valves to function as intended. This Excel-G strut is sold individually. Its specifications include a compressed length of 12.55 inches, an extended length of 16.66 inches, and a stroke length of 4.11 inches. The lower mount type is E2(22X40) and the upper mount type is 12X1.25. It is compatible with the 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla models including Base, CE, LE, S, and XLE trims.
