eXcelon 2-Channel Amplifier and 6x9" Saddlebag Speaker Kit

The Kenwood eXcelon P-HD2R is a comprehensive rear audio upgrade package specifically engineered for select Harley-Davidson motorcycles from 2014 onwards. This kit provides a significant audio enhancement by including a potent 2-channel Class D amplifier and a pair of 6"x9" rear saddlebag speakers, designed to integrate seamlessly with your motorcycle's existing audio system. The included XM160-2 amplifier delivers 80W RMS per channel into a 2Ω load and features a highly efficient Class D design, minimizing heat generation and allowing for a compact form factor suitable for motorcycle installations. It offers crucial features like a signal-sensing turn-on circuit for easy integration without a remote turn-on lead and an input sensitivity control to optimize signal levels from the factory head unit. Importantly, this amplifier is pre-tuned for stock Harley-Davidson head units, eliminating the need for any radio flashing. Completing the package are the Kenwood XM69R 6"x9" 2-way rear speakers, designed for mounting within the hardshell saddlebag lids of compatible Harley-Davidson models. These speakers feature IMPP woofer cones, PEI dome tweeters, and a sealed design to protect against water ingress. The kit also includes the Kenwood CA-CUT14 6x9" Cut-In Lid Kit, enabling precise installation into saddlebag lids while minimizing space loss and incorporating water drain channels. Mounting plates tailored for specific Harley-Davidson Road Glide and Street Glide models are also provided, utilizing factory hardware for a secure fit. The amplifier features an attached 8" power and ground harness, with a 5' extension that runs to the battery, incorporating inline 15A fuses for protection. A 17" 8-pin harness provides speaker-level inputs that connect directly to the factory radio wiring, and a bypass harness allows for signal output to additional amplifiers if desired. The speaker output harness connects to the factory front speaker wires.
