The Kenwood Excelon DDX8906S DVD receiver offers advanced smartphone integration and a vibrant 6.95" capacitive touchscreen display. It provides both wired and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless access to navigation, music, and communication apps. The built-in Wi-Fi also enables screen mirroring from select Android phones, while integrated Bluetooth facilitates hands-free calling and audio streaming with dual phone support. This receiver boasts a high-resolution audio-ready design, capable of playing FLAC and WAV files up to 24-bit/192 kHz from USB drives. For audio customization, it includes a 13-band equalizer with digital time alignment, DriveEQ to compensate for road noise, and controls for subwoofer level, phase, and low-pass crossover. It fits standard double-DIN dash openings and comes with a 2-year warranty. Expandability options include compatibility with SiriusXM tuners and the Kenwood DRV-N520 Drive Recorder dash cam. It features three rear camera inputs and 6-channel gold-plated preamp outputs (5V front, rear, subwoofer). A wired connection to the parking brake is required for accessing certain settings and displaying video. It is also compatible with most factory steering wheel audio controls via an adapter and works with the iDataLink Maestro module to retain factory features and display vehicle data.
