The Kenwood Excelon DDX6906S is a 6.8-inch WVGA Clear Resistive Touch Screen DVD receiver designed to enhance your vehicle's infotainment system. It offers robust smartphone integration with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to access navigation apps like Waze, music, and more directly from the receiver's display. The unit supports dual phone connections via Bluetooth, enabling simultaneous pairing and music mixing from multiple devices. Audio performance is a key feature, with the DDX6906S playing CDs, DVDs, and USB memory devices. The built-in amplifier provides 22 watts RMS and 50 watts peak power per channel. Expandability options include compatibility with a SiriusXM satellite radio tuner (sold separately) and direct connection to Kenwood's DRV-N520 Drive Recorder dash cam (sold separately). It also features 3 backup camera inputs and is compatible with most factory steering wheel audio controls when using an adapter. The iDatalink Maestro module integration allows for seamless interface with factory infotainment features and displays vehicle data such as HVAC, performance, and TPMS on compatible vehicles.
