The Kenwood Excelon DDX6906S is a multimedia DVD receiver designed to enhance your in-car entertainment experience. It boasts a 6.8-inch WVGA Clear Resistive Touch Panel for intuitive control. Connectivity is a strong suit, with support for wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless integration of your smartphone's functions. Bluetooth dual phone pairing enables you to connect two devices simultaneously, and features like Music Mix allow up to five paired phones to be connected at once for music streaming. Pandora and Spotify control are built-in for both iPhone and Android devices. Beyond smartphone integration, the DDX6906S plays CDs and DVDs, and is compatible with high-resolution audio formats like 192kHz/24-bit FLAC and WAV. It features a built-in amplifier delivering 22 watts RMS per channel. Expandability options include SiriusXM radio compatibility (tuner sold separately), three backup camera inputs, and direct connection with Kenwood's DRV-N520 dash cam (sold separately). For advanced integration, this receiver is iDatalink Maestro ready, allowing it to interface with factory infotainment systems and display vehicle information such as HVAC and TPMS data on compatible vehicles.
