Exedy 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7 R2 Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Thin Disc

Stage 2 Cerametallic clutches are designed to handle the abuse of high power modified engines. The cerametallic friction material can handle much more slippage than stock-type disc assemblies without slipping and fading. The thin discs offer greatly reduced inertia to improve shift effort, allow for quicker shifting, and improve synchro durability. These discs are approximately half the thickness of a stock disc and are recommended for circuit track use only. Features include a cerametallic friction disc with EXEDY exclusive friction composition, high friction coefficient material, heavy-duty oil-quench hardened damper springs, hi-load bonding agents, reduced weight for quicker shifting, an average of 40% increase in clamp load, and a ductile iron pressure plate for high strength and anti-burst protection. SFI approved for racing.
