Exedy 1993-1996 Honda Prelude Vtec L4 Hyper Single Clutch Sprung Center Disc Push Type Cover

The EXEDY Hyper Single Series clutch is engineered to optimize the performance of moderately modified cars. It features a purple anodized, forged aluminum cover, maintaining reasonable pedal efforts without clamp load deflection. The pressure plate incorporates turbine-like vanes for enhanced airflow, keeping the clutch cooler under extreme conditions and improving wear life. All Hyper Single clutches include a chromoly steel flywheel, usually supplied with a 6-puck cerametallic facing and a spring center damper disc assembly. Select vehicles may offer the new VF (Various Friction) disc. The chromoly flywheel is lighter than OEM for improved engine response and a lighter overall assembly. The disc is generally smaller and thinner than the OEM disc, resulting in lower inertia, quicker/easier shifting, and less wear on transmission synchros. The higher clamp load and cerametallic friction facings provide approximately twice the holding torque of the OEM clutch and higher than other single disc clutches.
