Exedy 2016+ Honda Civic 1.5L Turbo Flywheel

The Exedy HF03 Lightweight Flywheel is a high-performance component designed for light to moderately tuned racing cars, including those used for drag racing, autocross, rally events, and even street usage. These flywheels are crafted from solid one-piece billet chromoly steel or chromoly steel forgings, offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio that is considerably stronger and harder than standard 1020 steel or aluminum flywheels. The design aims to reduce weight and inertia for improved engine response. Many models incorporate special features to enhance airflow, thereby improving clutch cooling. Unlike aluminum flywheels, which can have a pressed-on ring gear prone to separation due to different expansion coefficients, the HF03 features integrated ring gear teeth. Exedy lightweight flywheels undergo rigorous engineering tests, having passed tests up to 15,000-18,000 RPM, and are guaranteed not to fail within this range.
