The Exedy Stage 1 organic clutch is what you need. It's got higher clamp load than the factory clutch so it can hold more torque without slipping, but it still drives like a stock clutch on the street. This is the clutch for FK8 owners making 350-400 wheel horsepower who want something that holds power without feeling like a race clutch in traffic. Higher Clamp Load, Stock-Like Feel: The Stage 1 uses increased clamp load to hold more torque than the factory pressure plate. That means you can run more boost or bolt-ons without worrying about the clutch slipping under hard acceleration. The pedal effort's slightly higher than stock because of the increased clamp load, but it's not a heavy race clutch pedal. It's still comfortable enough to drive every day. Organic Friction Material: The clutch disc uses organic friction material instead of a puck-style or metallic disc. Organic material grabs smoothly and progressively, which means you're not dealing with the on-off engagement that makes puck clutches a pain to drive in traffic. It's also resistant to slipping and bursting under load, so it lasts. Spring Center Damper for Smooth Engagement: The disc has a spring center damper that absorbs drivetrain shock during engagement.
