EXEDY Stage 1 Organic Racing Clutches use premium friction materials resistant to slippage and burst. They offer increased clamp loads for modified engines, making them ideal for street and light horsepower track use. Drivability is similar to stock, with slightly higher pedal efforts. All Stage 1 clutch discs have spring center dampers for reduced drivetrain shock and smooth clutch engagement. The clutch covers achieve approximately 40% higher clamping load than genuine parts, allowing higher torque transmitting capacity. Ductile material is used for all pressure plates, ensuring high burst strength across temperature ranges. The advanced facing material, developed by reviewing copper wire ratio and high-strength fiber composition, provides high heat resistance. The Ultra Fiber Disc maintains superior half-engagement feel specific to the Organic material, with improved high heat resistance for street performance and mild racing applications. All EXEDY Stage 1 Organic, Stage 2 Cerametallic, and Lightweight Flywheels are SFI 1.1 Certified for competitive motorsports.
