The EXEDY Sports Series, featuring the Ultra Fiber Clutch Set, is engineered for motorsport applications, delivering superior performance for street, circuit, and drifting. It utilizes high heat-resistant friction material and high-strength fibers. The clutch covers are designed to achieve a clamping load 40% higher than genuine parts, allowing for increased torque transmission. Ductile material is used for the pressure plate, ensuring high burst strength across various temperature ranges. The Ultra Fiber material is asbestos-free and maintains a high friction coefficient even after demanding motorsport use, recovering effectively after cooling if fade occurs. Modifications to the copper weave in the friction material composite enhance heat resistance and burst strength, eliminating the need for steel plate reinforcement. This material also exhibits a stable wear rate over a broad temperature range, outperforming conventional organic friction materials under heavy use. The Exedy EXE-NC09T clutch cover is specifically compatible with Nissan Silvia S13, S14, and S15 models with SR20DET engines, as well as the Nissan 180SX RPS13 with the SR20DET engine.
