The Exedy Hyper Twin Carbon-R Clutch is a flagship model from Exedy, applying Formula One technology to street and track applications. These clutches are lightweight, durable, and resilient to high heat, contributing to improved track times. Exedy carbon discs are precisely manufactured with fibers set one-by-one in a weaving pattern and baked at over 3600°F, increasing strength. The carbon material has a heat expansion rate 1/20th of iron, eliminating changes in clutch feel due to distortion. It also possesses a "non-stick" characteristic to prevent disengagement problems.
