Exhaust Brake Switch Kit

The BD Power 1300240 Push/Pull Exhaust Brake Switch Kit offers a "Big Rig" feel and enhanced accessibility for controlling your exhaust brake system. Designed for manual transmissions, this switch mounts to the 3/4" diameter shift lever, providing a convenient and intuitive way to engage or disengage the exhaust brake without taking your eyes off the road. This kit is an optional component for BD Diesel exhaust brakes, allowing users to customize their control setup. The shifter-mounted design offers greater ease of use compared to dash-mounted switches found in many standard kits. IMPORTANT NOTE: This switch kit will not work on 1998.5-02 12-valve Dodge Ram trucks; for those applications, part number BD1300210 should be ordered. Additionally, this product is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA. It is designed for use on 3/4" diameter shift levers. For reference, some sources indicate compatibility with RAM 2500 trucks with the 5.9L I6 engine from 1994 to early 1998, and it is noted that it does not fit 1989-1993 Dodge trucks due to insufficient bell housing.
