Description

The Schrick exhaust camshaft is a performance upgrade specifically engineered for the VW V6 R32 4V 3.2L A3 engine, applicable from model year 2004 onwards. This camshaft offers a duration of 264 degrees with a 220-degree duration measured at 1mm lift. It provides a cam lobe lift of 5.47mm for the exhaust and a total valve lift of 11mm (without valve clearance). Key timing specifications include an exhaust peak timing of 101 degrees. The exhaust valve opens at 53 degrees and closes at 31 degrees. At 1mm of lift, the exhaust opens at -210 degrees and closes at 9 degrees. The valve lift at Top Dead Center (TDC) for the exhaust is 2.25mm. It is a direct replacement for the stock camshaft, simplifying the installation process. For optimal performance and tuning, professional installation and ECU remapping may be recommended.
