The Tomei Procam Exhaust Camshaft (TA301E-NS05G) is engineered for high-performance applications, specifically for the R32/R33 RB26DETT engine. This results in increased valve lift and a larger area under the lift curve, directly translating to greater air intake and ultimately, more power. Unlike conventional camshafts, the VALC profile ensures a slower valve closing rate, which helps mitigate common valve train issues. The design strategically reduces maximum cam velocity to control lobe travel on the valve lifter, preventing damage to both the camshaft lobes and the lifters, even with high lift profiles. Compared to standard camshafts with similar lift, the VALC profile achieves greater lift and performance gains by offsetting the reduced cam velocity. This specific model, the TA301E-NS05G, offers a duration of 282 degrees and a lift of 10.80mm. The product is intended for OFF ROAD use only and may not be legal for street use. It is explicitly listed for R32/R33 RB26DETT fitments.
